My Reply: Do you feel the same way about other Cultural Arts Festivals in Durham ? The Bimbe also offers great inspirational events
with " GOSPEL SINGERS AND ENTERTAINMENT " for those that may wish to celebrate their " FAITH / BELIEF ". These events
are mostly helded during Sunday. Jesus was among " SINNERS ", showing by example that his love is open to all, maybe this
is not the place for you to share your experience, strenght, and hope, especially if your opinions are so closed minded. Sorry that
you got the message. Stay Blessed, and may you find your service to be where more righteous folks need you word.

Believers At War

Do I have to believe your beliefs? Must I fear to express a personal point of view?
Am I wrong to reject your Religious Dogma? WHY? I believe in God, too!
The message from God, as you understand, a believer's guideline to go to Heaven or Hell.
Holy Books with scriptures at War, your interpetation says I won't win; I'll fail. WHY? I believe in God, too!
Such War of Words, your facts backed by beliefs, God's definition - from your point of view.
My soul is at Peace, My Faith is satisfied, God's Religion holds truth. I believe in God, too!
God's inspired steps have helped me change, good orderly direction is the path I'm on, in accordance with the rights of life, not accepted by your Book - ain't that taking it a bit to far? I believe in God, too!
Our words from Dogma have turned into Bombs for War, divided because of our differences of Faith and Belief. One thing to remember from the Spiritual Realm: Killing each other is not at all, from my understanding, "GODS WILL."

QUESTION: Will the Bimbe' Feature a inspirational day like past with gospel events on Sunday ?
Do you think this Ministers opinion reflect on the truth of the event ?

I have great memories of the Bimbe' all the way back to HILLSIDE PARK, UDI, NCCU, DAP, DOWNTOWN, AND NOW DURHAM, CENTRAL PARK. I don't remember those events being
labeled or spoken about in such negative way. I guest i was bothered also by the first three words of this
ministers question ( " DO YOU ALL " ). What is that about ?

Well, whatever. For those of us that have a history of enjoying the event and the spirituality, unity, community, celebration of life, fun, via way of coming together for the Cultural Arts festival, may the
spirit of your " Higher Power ", allow you to be at peace, in good character, and motivated to take part
with " GOOD ORDERLY DIRECTION " , as your guide, and just maybe, you may represent attraction rather than promotion as to how " GOD ", still loves us, regardless of where we might be in life that day.

It is an honor and a privilege to introduce myself and my school. I am Rhonda Dunn, an 8th grade language arts teacher at the one and only Zebulon Gifted and Talented Magnet Middle School.

I first heard about your EOG Tour last year while listening to the station on my drive home one afternoon. Even though the tour was already in full force, I was excited about the opportunity to contact you for this year's EOG Tour. Here we are a year later and we are ready!!!

We are located in eastern Wake County with a student body population of over 600 energetic, enthusuatic and awesome students. We have a large african-american and hispanic population, and your EOG Tour would not only be meaningful to our kids, but would also be a unique and fun way to get everyone fired up about taking the EOG. Our student body would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE for you to come out and get us pumped, and we would be honored by your presence. Can you imagine the kids' excitement with having one of their favorite radio personalities live and up close?

Mr. Dawson, What a Joy it would be if you graced our school (James E. Shepard Magnet Middle School, named after the founder of NCCU, Dr. James E. Shepard) family with your presence at our End of Grade Test Celebration. It has been a magnificent year at Shepard and we would truly love to end our school year on top! For the past 20 years I have worked with so many Wonderful children, parents and staff at Shepard and I feel they deserve to be recognized, especially because we have a Brand New School that has been recently renovated after soooo many years. We have a Great school family, lead by two Super administrators, Principal Ericka Boone and Ass't Principal Anthony Bonchick. Our children are our future and they deserve to be Celebrated...

Millbrook Elementary Magnet School in Raleigh would love to have Brian Dawson come to our school for an EOG pep rally. Our school serves a large population of underprivileged children (about 70%) and the students and teachers are working hard to pull our test scores up. We are on the rise and our kids could really use the inspiration from Brian Dawson to get them hyped up. This would mean a lot to our students to have someone like him come in and tell them he believes in them.

My name is Kathrine Lambert and I teach at a new Title 1 school in Vance county, Clarke Elementary. Clarke Street was the old school before this on was built last year. Clarke Street had 180 students. We are currently housing over 500!! Many of the students/teachers are new and this would be a great way to bring everyone together even more! We start our 30 day EOG review after Spring Break. This would be a wonderful way to kick start some of these students and get them motivated to get those scores! These students want to succeed and we as teachers want them too! They think us teachers don't know how to get down to their level and this EOG tour would show them we truely care enough to do whatever it takes to show them everyone is pulling for them! These students need that extra push!! Consider the BULLDOGS of Clarke!!

Hi Brian,

My name is Mrs. Clark, and I am an Instructional Assistant at Bugg Elementary Creative Arts and Science Magnet School. Our school is located in the Worthdale Community in Raleigh NC. While I am sure a lot of our kids listen to you daily on the radio, I am sure they would be estatic to have you visit our school and pump them up for the EOG. This year at Bugg we are doing so many new things to motivate and empower our students about the importance of their education. On Tuesday, March 26, our school will hold our first annual college day. There will be a little over 200 college students from surrounding colleges, including NC State, Shaw and St.Augustines, motivating our students from pre-k to fifth grade. We want our students to know that it is not too early to think about college and their future endeavors.
Bugg is a school where we like to incorparate education with extra curricular. We are the home of the championship ball handlers club and the Charles R. Bugg Step Team.

I have already booked Nikki Nicole to be one of the judges at our "Rip The Runway" Fashion and Talent Show here at our school.
